The APA Annual General Meeting precedes an MTCS meeting scheduled for the same venue in the afternoon. All APA members are encouraged to attend both meetings to consider and discuss issues of importance to all professional archaeologists in the province.
* Norman Hawirko has a broad experience in both technical and illustrative mapping for planners, engineers and archaeologists and other professions. His firm, Heritage Technics formed a partnership with Dan Larocque, one of the earliest UAV pilots in Northern Ontario. Together they formed North Country Aerial Ltd - a full service company for high resolution aerial photos, videos and orthographic maps. A 3D model of the historic Townsite mine headframe in Cobalt, Ontario will be demonstrated. Norm will be discussing the practical adoption of UAV technology for archaeological companies. Case studies will be presented including a business model
